Dr. Motte – One of Berlin\u2019s original electronic music artists who qualify for the title of legendary is surely Dr. Motte. An iconic figure of the Techno scene \u2013 DJ, producer and remixer from the original vanguard of Techno\u2019s few pioneering souls \u2013 Dr. Motte initiated and successfully staged what became the biggest cultural celebration of music, tolerance, love and indeed life itself, that the world has ever seen: the Loveparade.<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Despite his great global recognition and the impressively long list of achievements, Dr. Motte has stayed true to his ideals, true to the underground that has been his home for decades. By his consciously chosen way of life, he remains a peace activist attuned to the all important zeitgeist. Now, just like then, he stands for love, unity and tolerance and cares like nobody else for preserving and developing the Electronic Music Culture.

In 2019 Dr. Motte returned as the mastermind behind the Rave The Planet<\/strong><\/a> concept \u2013 a new Parade for a new era! In addition to organizing the parade, educational exhibitions and releasing new music, the Rave The Planet<\/strong><\/a> non-profit organization he founded, is aiming to list our beloved Techno Culture on the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage<\/strong><\/a>.

His sound is sophisticated, energetic and multi-faceted. He combines bouncing Acid sounds and rousing club grooves with driving heavy beats, taking his audience on a colourful trip through his universe, staying relevant and being admired by all generations of Techno fans.

Initiator der Technokultur, Vision\u00e4r und DJ-Ikone, Sound-Revolution\u00e4r und lebende Legende, Grenzg\u00e4nger im Spannungsfeld zwischen Underground und Massenph\u00e4nomen \u2013 Dr. Motte steht wie kaum ein anderer f\u00fcr die Geschichte und die Gegenwart des Berliner Techno. Seit 1985 pr\u00e4gt und formt er die Soundscape der Szene. Als Ideengeber und Mitbegr\u00fcnder der legend\u00e4ren Berliner Loveparade hat er eine Bewegung entfacht, die von Berlin aus die Welt eroberte und Techno zur universellen Sprache der Clubkultur machte.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In seinen Sets verschmelzen Geschichte und Vision. Dr. Motte verk\u00f6rpert das echte Berlin: kompromisslos, energiegeladen, authentisch. Ob in der intimen Atmosph\u00e4re dunkler Clubs oder auf gro\u00dfen B\u00fchnen internationaler Festivals \u2013 seine Aura und die Energie seiner DJ-Sets rei\u00dfen Mauern ein und erschaffen ein Momentum, in dem Menschen aller Hintergr\u00fcnde und Generationen zusammenfinden, um als eine Familie zu feiern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trotz seiner gro\u00dfen weltweiten Bekanntheit und der beeindruckend langen Liste seiner Erfolge ist Dr. Motte seinen Idealen treu geblieben, treu der Underground-Szene, die seit Jahrzehnten sein Zuhause ist. Durch seine bewusst gew\u00e4hlte Lebensweise bleibt er ein Friedensaktivist, der den entscheidenden Zeitgeist aufgreift. Heute wie damals steht er f\u00fcr Liebe, Einheit und Toleranz und setzt sich wie kein anderer f\u00fcr die Bewahrung und Weiterentwicklung der elektronischen Musikkultur ein.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Im Jahr 2019 kehrte Dr. Motte als geistiger Vater des \u201eRave The Planet<\/a><\/strong>\u201c-Konzepts zur\u00fcck \u2013 eine neue Parade f\u00fcr eine neue \u00c4ra! Neben der Organisation der Parade, der Durchf\u00fchrung von Bildungsausstellungen und der Ver\u00f6ffentlichung neuer Musik hat sich die von ihm gegr\u00fcndete gemeinn\u00fctzige Organisation \u201eRave The Planet<\/a><\/strong>\u201c zum Ziel gesetzt, unsere geliebte Techno-Kultur in die Liste des immateriellen Kulturerbes der UNESCO<\/strong><\/a> aufnehmen zu lassen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sein Sound ist raffiniert, energiegeladen und facettenreich. Er verbindet mitrei\u00dfende Acid-Sounds und mitrei\u00dfende Club-Grooves mit treibenden, kraftvollen Beats und nimmt sein Publikum mit auf eine farbenfrohe Reise durch sein Universum, wobei er stets am Puls der Zeit bleibt und von allen Generationen von Techno-Fans bewundert wird.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2025 markiert vier Jahrzehnte des Schaffens von Dr. Motte \u2013 ein Kapitel, das wir gemeinsam mit euch feiern m\u00f6chten.
