Jede Loveparade war die Summe aller Beteiligten und ihrer Arbeit. Wir gaben nichts vor, sondern schufen ein Feld, auf dem sich alle austoben konnten. Bei uns gab es keine Gesetze, au\u00dfer ein paar Grunds\u00e4tze: Keine Werbung, au\u00dfer den n\u00f6tigen Sponsoren, keine Gewalt. Ansonsten sagten wir: Geht und macht euer Techno-Ding.<\/li>\n<li><\/li>\n<li><em>(vorherige Frage: Wie haben Sie reagiert?)<\/em><\/li>\n<li><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>TAZ: Was denn jetzt: Kulturmarke oder Politik?<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><\/li>\n<li><strong>Dr. Motte:<\/strong> <span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">Der ehemalige Bundespr\u00e4sident Roman Herzog und damalige Verfassungsrichter fasste den Demonstrationsbegriff nach dem Brokdorf-Urteil neu: Er sagte, dass die Menschen auf der Stra\u00dfe alleine durch ihre Anwesenheit das Motto der Demonstration mittragen. Und dass das reiche, um als Demo durchzugehen. Bei uns aber hat man den engen Demo-Begriff angewandt: Keine inhaltliche Diskussion, keine Flugbl\u00e4tter, keine Reden&#8230; Die Hanf-Parade hat heute noch mit solchen Auflagen zu k\u00e4mpfen, die d\u00fcrfen ja gar nichts.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>TAZ: Sie nahmen sich dagegen einiges heraus: laute Musik, halbnackte Tanzende, Drogen. Hat die Loveparade \u00fcberhaupt erst den Spa\u00df in die Politik gebracht?<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><\/li>\n<li><strong>Dr. Motte:<\/strong> Nein, das war definitiv die Kommune, nach 1968. Wir sind vielleicht deren Kinder und haben das Anarchistische auf unsere Weise fortgef\u00fchrt. Musik ist ein sehr gutes Transportmittel f\u00fcr politische Botschaften.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0&#8230;<\/li>\n<li><\/li>\n<li><em>(Vorherige Frage: Trotzdem hatte Techno als Jugendbewegung eher den Ruf des Unpolitischen, Hedonistischen. Zu unrecht?)<\/em><\/li>\n<li><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>TAZ: Sie haben sich in den letzten Jahren unter anderem gegen die Mediaspree-Bebauung und f\u00fcr den Erhalt des K\u00fcnstlerhauses Tacheles in der Oranienburger Stra\u00dfe engagiert. Verstehen Sie sich als Bewahrer der hiesigen Subkultur?<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><\/li>\n<li><strong>Dr. Motte:<\/strong> Ich habe einfach ein starkes Gef\u00fchl f\u00fcr Ungerechtigkeit.<\/li>\n<li><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>TAZ: Ist das nicht eher ein krampfhaftes Festhalten an gewachsenen Strukturen? Dinge und Orte ver\u00e4ndern sich eben.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #ff6600;\">Ungek\u00fcrzte Antwort<\/span> Dr. Motte:<\/strong> Berlin hatte, historisch bedingt, einen Sonderstatus. Die vielen Freir\u00e4ume, die es gab, waren ein Gl\u00fccksfall: Nach dem Fall der Mauer herrschte pl\u00f6tzlich Wildwest. Fast 25 Jahre sp\u00e4ter sehe ich, dass nach und nach alles privatisiert wird. Trotz B\u00fcrgerentscheids darf ein <span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif;\">Investor an der East Side Gallery bauen, auch an anderen Orten in der Stadt herrscht totaler Wildwuchs. Es gibt keine Regeln, die Stadt wird immer h\u00e4sslicher. Mit Berlin als Stadt der Clubkultur wird es dann bald vorbei sein. Dabei war dieser Imagewandel \u2013 weg vom b\u00f6sen Deutschen und hin zur coolen Feierstadt \u2013 ein internationaler Durchbruch, den wir mit der Loveparade mitbegr\u00fcndet haben.<\/span><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"> Also k\u00f6nnte man sagen, dass die Loveparade alles in allem eine doch recht preiswerte Image-Kampagne f\u00fcr die Stadt Berlin war.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>&#8230;<\/li>\n<li><\/li>\n<li><em>(Vorherige Frage: Ein historischer Verdienst.)<\/em><\/li>\n<li><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>TAZ: Immerhin, es gibt Erfolge wie den Volksentscheid zur Nichtbebauung des Tempelhofer Feldes.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><\/li>\n<li><strong>Dr. Motte:<\/strong> Ja.
