Peter Böhm<\/strong> (1. Vorsitzender Dehoga Kiel)<\/p>\nKiel – am Samstag, 27. Oktober ist es soweit: zum allerersten Mal gehen Veranstalter, Club- und Diskothekenbetreiber aus ganz Schleswig Holstein gemeinsam gegen die viel diskutierte und Tarifreform der GEMA auf die Straße. <\/p>\n
Die Demonstration wird um 14:30 Uhr auf dem Rathausplatz starten und gegen 17:00 Uhr dort enden. Ein Trauermarsch von verschiedenen Musikwagen, welcher die bunte Vielfalt des Nachtlebens zeigt, wird dann über die Bergstraße, die Holtenauer Straße, den Knooper Weg und den Exerzierplatz führen, um dann im Anschluss die Bar-, Club- und Diskokultur symbolisch zu Grabe zu tragen – samt Sarg und Trauerkränze. Es darf aus gegebenen Anlass bei der Demo gerne schwarz getragen werden.
\nAls Redner haben wir keine Geringeren wie den Mitbegründer und ehemaligen Organisator der Loveparade Dr. Motte sowie seinen Kollegen DJ Spruce und den 1. Vorsitzender der Dehoga Kiel Peter Böhm gewinnen können, die einpaar abschließende Worte zu der Demo kundgeben werden. <\/p>\n
Mit dieser außergewöhnlichen Aktion wollen wir noch einmal auf die Bedrohung der bundesweiten Bar-, Club- und Diskokultur durch die geplante GEMA-Tarifreform hinweisen, die sich ganz konkret auch im Nachtleben auswirken wird. Die exorbitanten Erhöhungen der GEMA Tarife bedrohen die Existenz vieler Clubs und Diskotheken. <\/p>\n
Die Demo ist deswegen natürlich nicht “exklusiv” für Gastronomen, sondern wir hoffen auf eine breite Unterstützung, denn es geht auch um DEIN GELD! Um die geplanten Tarife der GEMA zahlen zu können, müssten viele deiner Lieblings-Clubs, -Discos und -Bars die Preise erhöhen – oder eventuell dicht machen!<\/p>\n
Wieso? Weshalb? Warum?<\/strong>
\nIm Prinzip ist die GEMA eine feine Sache. Die Verwertungsgesellschaft, die mit ganzem Namen “Gesellschaft für musikalische Aufführungs- und mechanische Vervielfältigungsrechte” heißt, sorgt dafür, dass den Musikern Geld zufließt, wenn ihre Songs in der Öffentlichkeit gespielt werden. Und Öffentlichkeit ist dabei sehr weit gefasst, es spielt keine Rolle, ob ein Club oder ein Radio die Musik spielt.
\nViele Musiker haben die Verwertung ihrer Musik der »GEMA« überlassen, heißt: Die GEMA kassiert Geld von allen, die die Musik nutzen (2010: 863 Mio. Euro) – zum Beispiel von deinen Lieblings-Clubs, -Diskotheken und -Bars. Das Geld wird dann nach einem komplizierten System z. T. an die Musiker weitergeleitet. Aber natürlich erst, nachdem sich die GEMA einen Teil für ihre bürokratische Dienstleistung abgezwackt hat (2010: 127 Mio. Euro). <\/p>\nNun das Problem<\/strong>: Die Höhe der Abgabe wird nicht von den Radios und den Clubs bestimmt, sondern von der GEMA. Und diese hat jetzt eine Tarifreform angekündigt, unter der die Clubs und Diskotheken besonders leiden werden.
\nDie GEMA will 2013 eigenmächtig ihre Tarife für Clubs, Bars und Diskotheken erhöhen. Teilweise um das Zehnfache! Manche Disko, die vorher 20.000 Euro pro Jahr an die GEMA zahlen musste, müsste dann 200.000 Euro zahlen, ohne dass sie oder du dafür von der GEMA auch mehr bekommen würden.
